Sushant Singh Rajput's Death Was Suicide Or Murder Still Remains Unanswered, Says Home Minister Anil Deshmukh While Talking About CBI Probe

Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, 2020 reportedly by suicide. Ever since then, his fans and friends demanded a CBI probe in this case. After Sushant Singh Rajput's father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, the demand for the same got much stronger. It was the Supreme Court that gave green signal to the Central Bureau Of Investigation to take over Sushant's case from Mumbai Police. The investigation is on, and many revelations have come to light. Even the Narcotics Control Bureau got involved in the case and Rhea Chakraborty got arrested. However, commenting on the same, Home Minister Anil Deshmukh recently stated that the mystery over Sushant's death, a suicide or murder, still prevails.
He was quoted saying, "The case was handed over to the CBI to investigate whether Sushant Singh Rajput's death was suicide or murder. This remains unanswered so far. This issue is now on the backburner and we have something else that is now being discussed." Defending the Mumbai Police, he also stated, "Mumbai Police had not registered an FIR into the actor’s death, as the family did not make any allegations in the statement it gave to the police."
Apart from CBI and NCB, the Enforcement Directorate too had come into action in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case as reportedly, the Kai Po Che actor's father in the FIR lodged against Rhea had mentioned about Rs 15 crore going missing from his son's account. So three central agencies are probing Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. CBI is now expected to file the investigation report.
